Abraham / Ibrāhīm

אַבְרָהָם (Hebrew) · إبراهيم (Arabic)

Father of monotheism, patriarch of nations

Overview

The most frequently shared figure. Both traditions honor him as the father of faith and monotheism. The Torah details his covenant journey; the Quran names an entire Surah (14) after him and presents him as the original ḥanīf (pure monotheist) who built the Kaaba with Ishmael.
